The George Washington University is offering full doctoral scholarships to prepare the next generation of community-engaged researchers to develop and lead social-structural and intersectional approaches to promote health equity and improve HIV and related health outcomes as part of a National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH)-sponsored T32 training grant.
Tuition, living expenses, and health insurance costs covered
Access to leading investigators in the fields of public health and psychology
State-of-the-art instruction in critical and intersectional theory and HIV and related syndemics
Hands-on experience in conducting, designing, implementing, and disseminating community-driven research
Integrative training opportunities and a skill-driven core curriculum
Trainees must apply and be accepted to one of the following GW PhD programs:
Social & Behavioral Sciences, Department of Prevention and Community Health, Milken Institute School of Public Health or
Clinical Psychology or Applied Social Psychology, Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, Columbian College of Arts & Sciences
